I kinda feel like a failure right now. With my lack of exercise and such and not really watching what I eat or not drinking soda. I don't want to be like "Oh well it's because of...." because I feel like it's just an excuse. HOWEVER--rotating schedules are not good for me. I haven't been sleeping for more than 5 hours a night. I feel like I'm in zombie mode all day. Until I hit the pillows, then I toss and turn for a few hours before falling asleep.
So I figured that a new month is a great time to start! Anytime is good of course, but being that it's weigh-in Wednesday and August 1st it's PERFECT! So I've decided to make some goals for myself for the month. Not just for weight wise, but for an all around better feeling ME.
My August Goals:
-Complete the 30 Day Shred (do in AM)
-NO SODA!!
-MORE WATER!!
-Put on make-up every week day
-Give myself a weekly mani and pedi on Sundays
- Less fast food, make better choices when I HAVE to do fast food.
- Take a Multi-vitamin everyday (one with higher folic acid)
- Get into a morning and evening routine to make life easier!!!
So there you have it. My goals for August. They seem pretty obtainable. I want to do MORE with beauty though (makeup, manicures, hair) because I notice that I feel better about myself if I have even just a little bit of makeup on and my nails all pretty and long. Makes me feel like I'm taking care of myself all the way around.
